Whose logo is on the deck your free plan just exported?
We do not currently have an affiliate relationship with any product on this page, and no vendor paid for placement or review. Outbound product links are marked nofollow.
The Short Answer
- Gamma — Gamma's free plan exports to PDF, PPTX, PNG and Google Slides, while "Remove Gamma branding" is listed as a reason to buy Plus.
- Pitch — Pitch's feature table marks free PDF exports "Branded" and Plus exports "Unbranded", putting a published price on a deck without someone else's logo.
- Beautiful.ai — Beautiful.ai offers only a card-backed 14-day trial rather than a free plan, so nothing leaves the product before a payment method is on file.
| Product | Best for | From | Free plan | Free-plan branding |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gamma | Free export, Gamma's name attached | — | Yes | Payment required |
| Pitch | Branded free, $10 a month to strip it | $10/mo (annual) | Yes | Payment required |
| Beautiful.ai | No free plan to ask | $12/mo (annual) | No | Payment required |
What we checked, and what we did not test
Most comparisons of AI presentation tools ask whether the free plan can export a file. That question is nearly settled — most of them can. The question that is still open when you attach the deck to an email is whose name is on it, and what the smallest amount of money is that takes the name off.
We opened the three pricing pages on 6 August 2026 and read the rows about branding, badges and export. Each verdict below quotes what we found and links the page. We did not build decks or export files, so a question like “does the badge appear on every slide or only the last” is not answered here — that needs a hands-on test, and we will label it as one when we run it.
Note what the answers are not. None of these three vendors offers an un-branded export on a free plan; the differences are in how plainly each one prices the removal. Pitch publishes both billing periods for the tier that removes it. Gamma names the tier but showed us no price at all. Beautiful.ai does not have the tier below it.
Free export, Gamma's name attached
1. Gamma — Free export, Gamma's name attached
Gamma is the most generous of the three on file formats and the least forthcoming on what removing its badge costs.
Best for Exporting a real file for free, with Gamma's name attached
From —. Free plan: Free — up to 10 slides per prompt, import from PDF and PPTX, export to PDF, PPTX, PNG and Google Slides.
- Plus — price not shown on the page we opened · 1 seat (Gamma's pricing page rendered every price cell as an empty placeholder on both the monthly and the annual toggle when we opened it on 2026-08-06, so we have no number to quote)
- Pro — price not shown on the page we opened · 1 seat (Same empty price cell as Plus)
- Ultra — price not shown on the page we opened · 1 seat (Same empty price cell as Plus)
Gamma's own Plus card is described as being "For extra AI power and removing Gamma branding", and "Remove Gamma branding" is listed as a Plus feature. The Free card lists "Export to PDF, PPTX, PNG & Google Slides", so the file does leave the product on a free account — it leaves with Gamma's name on it.
Pros
- Export on the free plan covers PDF, PPTX, PNG and Google Slides — the file itself is not paywalled.
- Import from PDF and PPTX is also included at the free tier.
Skip it if
- Removing Gamma's branding requires Plus, and Gamma's pricing page did not render a price for Plus when we opened it.
- Free generation is capped at 10 slides per prompt.
Branded free, $10 a month to strip it
2. Pitch — Branded free, $10 a month to strip it
Pitch is the only product here that prices the exact thing you are buying — an export without a logo — in both billing periods.
Best for A published price for the exact thing you are buying — a clean export
From $10/mo (annual). Free plan: Free — unlimited presentations, up to 5 members.
- Plus — $12/mo, or $10/mo billed annually · 1 seat
- Team — $18/mo, or $15/mo billed annually (Per seat, up to 25 members)
- Business — $24/mo, or $20/mo billed annually (Per seat, up to 200 members)
Pitch's feature table marks PDF exports "Branded" on Free and "Unbranded" from Plus upward, lists PowerPoint exports as "Unbranded" from Plus, and names "Pitch branding removed" as a Plus feature. The cheapest deck without Pitch's logo on it costs $10 a month billed annually, or $12 billed monthly.
Pros
- Unlimited presentations and up to five members on the free plan.
- Both billing periods are published for every tier, so the annual discount is checkable rather than implied.
Skip it if
- Every free export — PDF and sharing links alike — carries Pitch branding.
- The free plan's PowerPoint export branding is not stated in the table at all, only the PDF one.
No free plan to ask
3. Beautiful.ai — No free plan to ask
Beautiful.ai answers the free-plan question by not having one, which is worth knowing before you enter a card to look around.
Best for Nobody who wants to try before entering card details
From $12/mo (annual). No free plan.
- Pro — $12/mo, or $12/mo billed annually · 1 seat (The page showed the same $12 a month on both the monthly and the annual view)
- Team — $50/mo, or $40/mo billed annually (Per user, 2 to 20 seats)
- Single Presentation — price not shown on the page we opened · 1 seat ($45 one-time for one presentation — not a subscription, so it has no monthly price)
There is no free plan to ask the branding question of. Beautiful.ai's pricing page offers only a trial — "You can try out Pro or Team plan features with a 14-day free trial, which gives you unrestricted access to everything in the plan" — and it requires a credit card that is charged if you do not cancel in time. Nothing leaves this product without a payment method on file.
Pros
- Editable PowerPoint export and PDF export are listed as included in Pro rather than sold as add-ons.
- A $45 one-time single-presentation option exists for people who need exactly one deck.
Skip it if
- No free plan at all — the only way to see the product is a card-backed 14-day trial.
- Pro's annual price is the same $12 a month as monthly, so committing for a year saves nothing.
What this means if you are choosing today
For a deck going to a client or an investor, the branding row is the only row on the pricing page that changes the artefact itself, and Pitch is the one that lets you calculate the cost before signing up: $10 a month billed annually removes it. If you are exporting for internal use, where the badge costs you nothing, Gamma’s free tier gives you more file formats than either of the others.
Gamma’s blank price is worth treating as information rather than an omission on our side. A pricing page that renders its plan features and not its prices is a page you cannot budget from, and on the day we looked, that is what it was.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Gamma put its branding on exported decks?
On the free plan, yes. Gamma's own pricing page describes the Plus tier as being "For extra AI power and removing Gamma branding" and lists "Remove Gamma branding" among its features, which places the branding on the tier below. The free plan does export real files — PDF, PPTX, PNG and Google Slides are all listed against it.
How much does an unbranded Pitch export cost?
$10 a month billed annually, or $12 billed monthly, which is the Plus tier. Pitch's feature table marks PDF exports as "Branded" on Free and "Unbranded" from Plus, and lists "Pitch branding removed" as a Plus feature. It is the clearest price-per-logo on this page because both billing periods are published.
Why is there no free-plan verdict for Beautiful.ai?
Because there is no free plan. Beautiful.ai's pricing page offers a 14-day trial of Pro or Team — "unrestricted access to everything in the plan" — that requires a credit card and charges it if you do not cancel. The branding question never gets a free answer there, so the verdict records that payment is required, not that branding exists.
Why is Gamma's price blank on this page?
Because its pricing page did not show us one. On 6 August 2026 the four plan cards rendered with their features intact and the price cell left as an empty placeholder, on both the monthly and the annual toggle. We do not copy a number from elsewhere to fill a gap on a vendor's own page, so the field stays blank and says why.
Did you export a deck from each of these?
No. These verdicts come from each vendor's own pricing page, read on 6 August 2026, and are labelled that way. A hands-on test would answer a question these pages leave open — for example whether Gamma's PPTX export carries the badge on every slide or only the last one — and when we run it, the verdict will say so.
How We Keep This Updated
Prices move and vendors rewrite their plan tables, so every value on this page carries the date we read it. When a page changes, the change lands here rather than being edited away quietly. The procedure is on the methodology page; if something above is wrong or out of date, tell us and we will re-check it.
- 2026-08-06 — First published. Branding rows read on the Gamma, Pitch and Beautiful.ai pricing pages; Gamma's prices recorded as unavailable after its price cells rendered empty.
